Get Out of the Boat
Most of us have boats.
They are the routines, relationships, habits, and familiar places that make life feel safe and predictable. And most of the time, there is nothing wrong with staying aboard.
But occasionally life asks us to climb over the side.
To try something new. Make the phone call. Have the difficult conversation. Take the trip. Learn something. Forgive someone. Begin again.
There’s a wonderful line: “Try and fail, but don’t fail to try.”
Perhaps the greatest risk isn’t failing. Perhaps it’s allowing fear of failure to keep us safely in the boat while life passes by.
Come join us. There’s room in the boat!
